I can not even begin to describe how grateful I am that I found Sarah.
When I chose to hire a doula for my first pregnancy, my spouse thought it was "pointless" and "a waste of money"
As my pregnancy progressed, he was very pleased with the support I was receiving from Sarah, and he thought it was "well worth the money"
But after seeing how difficult my labour was, and how Sarah didn't leave my side for nearly 30 hours, he thought that every woman should have a birthing doula.  Sarah came to my aid within a very short time after I called her in the middle of the night.  She coached me through my contractions, kept me busy, and called the midwife on my behalf to come check on my progression. She rubbed my feet and laid her weary head on the side of my bathtub when I was between contractions. She even helped me with my laundry after everything was done. She helped coach me through my breastfeeding struggles, and continued to message me to check in. I really don't think all doulas are built like Sarah. She is a true gem, a beautiful person inside and out. I highly recommend her. If you're on the fence about hiring a doula, just know that Sarah is worth a lot more than the money she charges.
